The inequality $x<a$ can also be written as $a>x$. In
other words, saying “x
is less than a”
is the same as saying “a
is greater than x.”
Similarly:

| b. | $0<x< 2$ is the same as $2>x >0$. |

| c. | $-3<x$ is the same as $x >-3$. | |
| d. | $x\le2$ is the same as $2\ge x$. |
